The 101 Çanak Okey offline game is typically played with four players. The game pieces come in four colors—Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue—and are numbered from 1 to 13. In addition, there are two fake Okeys, making a total of 106 pieces.
At the start of the game, all pieces are shuffled and automatically distributed. The player next to the dealer receives 22 pieces, while the others get 21. Players then organize their pieces into groups or pairs according to their cues.
The remaining pieces are placed in the middle of the table, with one piece turned face-up to serve as the indicator stone. The piece matching the color and number of the indicator stone becomes the Okey Stone, which can replace any piece during play.
If a player finishes the game by throwing an Okey, their points are doubled. In normal gameplay, players aim to form at least three-piece sequences or sets. Sequences can be formed by aligning pieces of the same color in order, while sets are made by grouping the same number across different colors.
To win, a player must arrange all their pieces into pairs and, upon completing seven pairs, drag the final piece to the center of the table, signaling the end of the game. If the last piece thrown is not an Okey, the player finishing the game is deducted 101 points.
