The 4 Bead (also known as 4 Teni, Sholo Guti, or 4 Daane) game is a strategic board game that can be enjoyed by two players. Each player starts with 4 beads, and the objective is to outmaneuver your opponent and be the last player with beads remaining on the board. The game initiates automatically once both players are registered, with the first player beginning the game and the second player waiting for their turn.
At the start of each turn, the active player must choose one of their beads to move. There are two distinct ways to move beads in the game:
1. **Moving the Nearest Bead:** Players can move their selected bead to the nearest available position on the board. This move is crucial for positioning and can help protect your beads from being captured. Note that players can only move a bead to the nearest position once per turn.
2. **Crossing an Opponent's Bead:** If the nearest bead to the one you've chosen is an opponent's bead and the space beyond it is empty, you can 'cross' over the opponent's bead to the empty space. This move can be repeated multiple times within a single turn, allowing a player to capture multiple opponent beads in one go. After completing such moves, the player must end their turn by either clicking the 'PASS' button or selecting the bead they moved last.
The game's outcome hinges on which player loses all their beads first. For example, if Player One loses all their beads before Player Two, then Player Two emerges as the winner. This simple yet engaging game challenges players to think several moves ahead and strategically manage their beads to outlast their opponent.
