Brown Dust 2's latest update, "Promise of Vengeance," plunges players into Story Pack 15, featuring Lathel, Liberta, and Blade's desperate escape from the infamous Cocytus Facility, a key Iron Mask production site. This thrilling chapter, chronologically set before Story Pack 9, unveils crucial details about Lathel's past and its connection to the wider narrative. The trio faces formidable challenges, including the powerful boss Morpeah, and encounters both familiar foes and brand new threats.

The update also introduces the seasonal event, "Crimson Destiny," delving into Blade's origins within the Silverstein family of the Rian Republic.
