Callbreak is easy to play. A deck of 52 cards is randomly dealt among four players. Based on their hand and strategy, each player makes a bid from 1 to 8. Cards are played following standard rules, and the player with the highest card takes the hand.

Players must win a number of hands equal to their bid. Failing to do so results in a negative score. This plays out over five rounds, and the player with the highest total score wins the game.
