About the Game

Chinese Checkers (also known as Sternhalma or Chinese Chequers) is a classic strategy board game with German origins. Played on a distinctive star-shaped board, it accommodates 2 to 6 participants. The objective is straightforward: move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite side of the board.

Game Modes

The application supports both online and offline playstyles.

Online Play:

1. Match with a random opponent from the global pool.
2. Create a private game to invite friends or join an existing match using a unique code.

Offline Play:

Compete against AI bots or play locally on the same device as another human player. You can customize the number of participants—for example, playing solo against one bot or challenging yourself with five bots at once.

Bots

The game features three distinct AI opponents:

• Weak Bot: Simulates a beginner player who often makes suboptimal moves. Ideal for those just learning the basics.
• Medium (Regular) Bot: Offers a balanced challenge; experienced players should be able to defeat it with skill.
• Strong Bot: A tough opponent that requires strategic thinking and practice to beat.

Profile

To customize your online identity, click the person icon located in the bottom-right corner of the main screen. Here, you can set a display name and choose an avatar visible to other players during matches.

Settings

Access the Settings menu by clicking the gear icon on the home page. Customize your experience with these options:

• Adjust volume for interface sounds (clicks, moves, game end notifications).
• Control background music volume.
• Select preferred background music tracks.
• Change interface and board themes.
• Toggle Super Chinese Checkers mode on or off.
• Enable "cheating" mode to display all possible move destinations for easier gameplay.
• And many more customization options available.

How to Play

Click the “Read rules” button on the main screen to start an interactive tutorial and master the game quickly.
