Quick Rules Overview
Cards are dealt equally among four players who take turns passing or bidding how many tricks (above six) they believe their team can take in a chosen suit or No Trump. The bidding proceeds auction-style with players increasing bids or passing.
The player to Declarer's left makes the opening lead. Players must follow suit when possible, playing any card otherwise (including trumps). The trick winner leads next. The bidding team aims to fulfill their contract while opponents try to prevent it.
After the opening lead, Dummy's cards are revealed. Declarer plays both their hand and Dummy's. If your team wins the bid, you'll control both hands.
Scoring: Contract points for meeting/exceeding bids or penalty points for failures. The Rubber goes to the first team winning two of three games (reached at 100 contract points).
