You are the grisly result of a failed experiment in a forsaken castle—a mound of sentient, undead sludge. Your ticket to freedom requires commandeering another not-quite-living body and the raw determination to battle through a procedurally generated, pixel-art fortress teeming with rogue foes and dreadful bosses. Master the arts of fluid 2D combat and platforming, wield a diverse arsenal of weapons, and forge your unique abilities as you piece together the mysteries of the dungeon, the castle, and what lies beyond.

And don't stress about death. That's what the enormous pile of corpses in the dungeon is for. Fight, learn, die, restart, and keep improving.

The Netflix edition bundles all free and premium downloadable content from the original game, letting members experience the complete escape saga from the very first awakening. Brave the secret Arboretum in "The Bad Seed" expansion, sharpen your skills in "Rise of the Giant," ascend from dungeon to cliffside in "Fatal Falls," confront the castle's ultimate foe in "The Queen and the Sea," and team up with Castlevania legends Alucard and Richter Belmont to challenge Dracula in the retro-styled "Return to Castlevania" DLC.
