With the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, you can benefit from automatic glucose readings updated every minute and receive alarms for low or high blood sugar levels directly through the app.
With the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:
- View your current glucose result, trend arrow, and glucose history
- Receive low or high glucose alarms when using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
- Access reports, such as time spent in target range and daily trends
- Share your data, with your consent, with your doctor and family

USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
You can receive alarms either on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or on your phone, but not both simultaneously. To get alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on your reader, start the sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. After starting the sensor with the reader, you can still scan it using your phone.
Remember, the application and the reader do not share data with each other. To ensure comprehensive data collection, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you wish to use. Without regular scans, your reports may not reflect all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
