In Hearts, the objective is to finish with the lowest score. You must follow the suit of the leading card (e.g., Clubs). If you cannot follow suit, you may play any card—except you cannot play a Heart or the Queen of Spades on the first trick. The player who lays down the highest card of the leading suit takes the trick and leads the next round. Each Heart in a taken trick is worth 1 point, and the Queen of Spades adds 13 points. However, if one player collects all the Hearts and the Queen of Spades (known as Shooting the Moon), that player scores 0 points and all other players receive 26 points! The game concludes when any player reaches or exceeds 100 points.
