Genshin Impact: Smash Beetle Brawl with Shuyu

Master the Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl in Genshin Impact 5.3! This guide provides a straightforward approach to conquering all five beetle battles.

Event Requirements:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context to the event's narrative, as Shuyu is a character featured in that quest.

Gameplay Mechanics:

This event features simulated beetle battles within the Serenitea Pot on Mt. Aocang. You control an Onikabuto beetle using simple controls: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Utilize Piercing Strikes (by holding the attack button) for enhanced damage.

Battle Strategies:

Each of the five stages presents unique challenges:

1. "Staff Master Who Only Uses Basic Horizontal Sweeps": A basic Hilichurl; focus attacks on its head, dodging its predictable attacks.
2. "Staff Master Who Waves a Torch About Non-Stop": A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target its head and the Pyro Slime, particularly when it's preparing to throw it.
3. "Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage": A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its fire spell casting, then attack repeatedly.
4. "Bouncy, Energetic Mage Who’s Actually Freezing Cold": A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as with the Pyro Abyss Mage.
5. "Big Guy Said to be Solid as a Mini Mountain": A Stonehide Lawachurl. Attack swiftly, dodging its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike on the slime for maximum damage.

Difficulty and Rewards:

Play on "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy attack patterns. A co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.

Complete all stages on Utmost Might difficulty to earn a total of 420 Primogems. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
