"50% Off SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset"

by Mila Apr 25,2025

For a limited time, Best Buy is slashing the price of the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset for PC, PS4, and PlayStation 5 to just $139.99—that's a massive 50% off the original $280 list price. This deal even beats SteelSeries' Easter Sale price by $50, which was set at $189.99. The Arctis Pro isn't just any headset; it's SteelSeries' flagship model, renowned for its premium features and now overshadowed only by the newer Arctis Nova Pro. One of its standout features is the ability to swap batteries, making it one of the only two models with this capability.

The Arctis Pro was the pinnacle of SteelSeries' gaming headsets until the launch of the Arctis Nova Pro. It offers unique features like a standalone base station equipped with a volume knob and an OLED display, the ability to connect via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi simultaneously, and the game-changing **hot-swappable battery system**. This means you can enjoy uninterrupted wireless gaming, as one battery powers your headset while the other charges in the base station.

The build quality of the Arctis Pro is top-notch, featuring a lightweight steel and aluminum alloy headband and a comfortable suspension headstrap perfect for long gaming sessions. The ear cushions use AirWeave performance fabric, similar to that found on the newer Arctis Nova Pro. The ClearCast boom microphone can be retracted when not in use. The audio quality is exceptional, thanks to the premium 40mm speaker drivers with high-density neodymium magnets, delivering hi-res audio up to 40,000Hz.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Review by Matt Elliot

"The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless stands out with its premium build, comfort, and superior sound. The battery-swapping system is a genius move, ensuring you're never caught without power. While the sound is fantastic, the wired Arctis Pro + GameDAC might edge it out in performance, being $70 cheaper and still very comfortable. Alternatively, if you're looking to save even more, the wireless Arctis 7 is available for less than half the price."

Although the Arctis Pro was succeeded by the Arctis Nova Pro in 2022, which offers enhancements like active noise cancellation and USB Type-C charging, the current best price for a new Nova Pro is $270 on Amazon. Despite its upgrades and favorable reviews, it's hard to justify spending nearly double what you'd pay for the Arctis Pro.
