How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After countless attempts, we've cracked the code to complete all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. While these stages aren't necessarily challenging in terms of gameplay, they do require significant Reputation grinding. Buckle up, because you're in for a lot of it!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you'll need to gather 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head over to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and find Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He's the guy with the headphones, and he'll give you the quest for Arata Stage 1. Your mission? Collect 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.

The quickest way to snag these fragments is by taking down bosses like Eto and Tatara, then crafting them at the workbench. If you need to check your Reputation, chat with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in the black suit and tie. Once you've gathered all 20 fragments, combine them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the workbench. For boss-fighting tips, check out our GHOUL://RE Boss and Raid Guide.

Return to Damiro, and he'll send you to talk to "him." This caused quite a stir in the GHOUL://RE community because no one knew who "he" was. Spoiler alert: "he" is Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, hiding in plain sight. Use our guide on all NPC locations in GHOUL://RE to find him easily.

Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

For Arata stages 2 and 3, you'll need to play in permadeath (PD) mode to unlock the legendary armor. It's wise to team up with strong allies, as solo missions can be tough.

Once you've amassed 100,000 Reputation points, take the elevator in the C.C.G. building to the Laboratory. Look for Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, the guy with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage 2 of acquiring Arata-Proto armor. Despite rumors suggesting you might only need 75,000 or 90,000 Reputation, trust us, 100,000 Reputation points guarantee success. Remember, play these stages on PD servers to avoid repeating the same response from the Black Reaper and to progress to Arata Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final stage also involves Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, more fragments, and a hefty sum of cash. Again, you must be in PD mode to proceed.

Gather one one-eyed Kakuja fragment and save up 500,000 Yen. Visit Black Reaper in the C.C.G. building, pay him the money, and he'll teleport you to face the Kishou Arima boss.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires average gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing damage from above. With practice, even average players can take him down. Be prepared to die several times, and bring ample resources. Each retry costs another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen.

Once you've defeated Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. Be cautious, as Arata armor drains your hunger at an alarming rate and prevents you from eating while worn.

Arata Armor Tips & Tricks

Arata-Proto Armor Buffs

Arata armor is powerful, but it drains your hunger quickly and doesn't allow eating while equipped. You'll need to remove it to replenish your hunger. However, the benefits are immense. You can't be ragdolled while wearing Arata, which is a significant advantage in all game scenarios.

Arata also boosts your equipment. Your character becomes incredibly "tanky," able to take and deal massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during a fight, it'll start consuming your health bar. Be vigilant, especially in boss fights, and remove the armor if it becomes too dangerous to keep on.

Reputation Grinding

The fastest way to grind Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode. Each boss kill in PD mode nets you 1,500 Reputation, far more than the 500 you get outside PD. Killing Ghouls only yields 100 Reputation per kill, so they're not the best option for Arata quests.

Congratulations! You're now well-versed in mastering all Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE. Before you dive in, don't forget to grab the latest GHOUL://RE codes to give yourself a head start.
