ARC Raiders Flashpoint Update Arrives March 31, Confirms New Enemy and Player Rewards

Embark Studios confirmed via a recent post on X that ARC Raiders will roll out its Flashpoint update on March 31 across PC and console platforms. This release continues to fulfill the game’s 2026 roadmap, adding new content following previous monthly drops.

The announcement featured an image of three Raiders inside Speranza, likely strategizing their next move. Alongside it came the teaser: "Truth is scarce and rumors spread. The Flashpoint is coming." Although Embark Studios hasn't revealed specific details yet, the early-year roadmap provides a clear outline of what players can anticipate from this update.

Flashpoint will bring a new ARC threat—enemy machines to encounter during raids—as well as an updated map condition that impacts visibility and movement dynamics. Additionally, the update introduces a fresh player project with unique objectives and rewards, alongside improvements to Scrappy, your in-game companion used for resource gathering.

Flashpoint serves as the third major update within ARC Raiders’ "Escalation" phase, which kicked off with Headwinds in January and will conclude in April with Riven Tides. That final update promises a new map, a massive ARC enemy, and an expanded Expedition window.

Recent Updates and Changes

On March 17, Patch 1.20.0 was deployed to address bugs, add cosmetics, and implement balance tweaks. Notably, the IL Toro shotgun received a rework that reduces its effectiveness at mid-range distances by adjusting its fire rate, reload speed, and damage falloff.

Earlier this year on January 27, Headwinds launched with a new matchmaking feature allowing solo players to join squad matches. It also introduced the Trophy Display player project, enabling hunters to track ARC machines and fill their trophy case for exclusive rewards.

In February, Shrouded Sky debuted new ARC enemies like the Firefly and Comet. It also added the Hurricane weather event, characterized by strong winds, limited visibility, and environmental hazards such as flying debris that can disrupt movement during raids.
