Welcome to a new week in Clash Royale, where excitement awaits with the introduction of the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event. Launched on January 6th, this event promises a week full of strategic gameplay and thrilling matches.
Supercell has recently unveiled the Evo version of Dart Goblin, making it the star attraction of this event. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into all the essentials you need to master the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event and maximize your enjoyment and success.
How Does Dart Goblin Evolution Draft Work in Clash Royale
The evolution of Dart Goblin is now upon us, and akin to the Giant Snowball's evolution, Supercell is offering Clash Royale players the chance to experiment with this new evo card through a draft event. Dart Goblin has always been a challenging unit to counter, and its evolved version brings an even greater threat to the battlefield.
The Evo Dart Goblin retains the same Hitpoints, Damage, Hit Speed, and Range as its standard counterpart. However, its game-changing feature is its poison ability. Each dart it fires now inflicts poison on the target area, making it exceptionally effective against swarms and formidable against tanks like the Giant. For instance, it can dismantle a Giant and Witch combo with ease, often resulting in significant positive elixir trades.
While the Evo Dart Goblin is powerful, selecting it alone won't secure victory. To excel in the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft event, consider the following strategies.
How to Win Clash Royale’s Dart Goblin Evo Draft Event
The Dart Goblin Evo Draft event allows players to experience the thrill of using the evo Dart Goblin, even without having unlocked it. Similar to other draft events, you won't be using your pre-built deck. Instead, you'll construct a new one for each match from a selection of cards provided by the game. You'll be presented with two cards per round, and you must choose one to add to your deck while your opponent receives the card you didn't select. This process repeats four times for both players, demanding careful consideration of how each choice impacts your deck's composition and your opponent's strategy.
The cards offered can vary widely, ranging from air units such as Phoenix and Inferno Dragon to hefty ground units like Ram Rider, Prince, and P.E.K.K.A. Crafting a cohesive deck can be challenging, but securing your key card early can guide your subsequent selections toward supportive cards that enhance its effectiveness.
In each match, one player will have the Evo Dart Goblin, while the other might receive alternative evo cards such as Evo Firecracker or Evo Bats. Don't overlook the importance of selecting a robust spell card for this event. Spells like Arrows, Poison, or Fireball are invaluable, capable of neutralizing the Dart Goblin and eliminating air units like minions and Skeleton Dragons while inflicting substantial damage on enemy towers.
