EA Launches Playtest for The Sims Spinoff, City Life Game with Friends

Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA, is currently conducting an exciting playtest for their new game, "City Life Game with Friends," as part of The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest is designed to gather valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, offering a glimpse into the future of EA's innovative projects.

Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?

The playtest for "City Life Game with Friends" is exclusively available for Android users. Your device must be running at least Android 12 and equipped with a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Please note that participation is not open to everyone, so make sure you're eligible before diving in.

You can enjoy the game until April 4th, 2025, but be mindful of the different end times based on your location. The playtest will conclude at 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST for those in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. After this date, the game will shut down, and you'll need to uninstall it from your device.

Keep in mind that what you'll experience is not the full game, nor a complete picture of the final product. However, it's a great opportunity to see the direction EA is exploring with this new venture. It's evident that EA is experimenting with a variety of fresh concepts here.

What’s in Store?

Once you join the playtest, you'll have the chance to create a character that truly reflects your style and personality. The neighborhood is vibrant and full of activities to keep you engaged. Visit the Thrift Shop to refresh your wardrobe, relax at the Café, or participate in community events.

Collaborate with others to organize block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and search for hidden collectibles scattered throughout the area. The game emphasizes social interaction and community building, encouraging you to connect with others over shared interests in art, music, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations.

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, head over to the Google Play Store to check it out, provided you're in one of the designated playtest regions. If not, stay tuned for our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue PAC-MAN Mobile on its 45th Anniversary.
