Edge of Memories, a New JRPG, Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox

by Zachary Feb 26,2025

Nacon and Midgar Studio unveil Edge of Memories, a captivating JRPG sequel to 2021's Edge of Eternity, launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox. This ambitious project boasts a stellar team, including Chrono Trigger's Yasunori Mitsuda (composer), NieR's Emi Evans (lyricist), Xenoblade Chronicles' Raita Kazama (character designer), and Final Fantasy XV's Mitsuru Yokoyama (combat designer).

The game plunges players into the ravaged world of Heyron, where the destructive Corrosion has either claimed lives or twisted inhabitants into grotesque creatures. Players assume the role of Eline, alongside party members Ysoris and Kanta, embarking on a perilous journey across the blighted continent of Avaris.
