On the r/Nightreign subreddit, a user shared a screenshot from their game showing an error message when attempting to start a new expedition: “Cannot launch expedition: Too many relics in possession.” The prompt advised them to use the relic rite menu to sell off excess relics before proceeding.

The poster estimated they were holding “upwards of 1000 maybe,” though the exact limit remains unconfirmed. Some speculate it could be tied to a standard item cap of 999, but without testing, the true threshold remains unclear.
