Fantastic Four reunites in the upcoming Marvel Rivals update

The Fantastic Four's full reunion in this winter's hit game is almost here! Next Friday's major update to Marvel Rivals introduces The Thing and The Human Torch, adding two iconic heroes to the roster.

A ranked mode checkpoint arrives in just 10 days, rewarding participants with in-game prizes. Gold rank players and above will unlock exclusive skins, while Grandmaster rank players and beyond will receive a prestigious Crest of Honor.

However, a partial rank reset is planned, demoting players by four divisions. This change has drawn criticism, as players feel their progress is unfairly diminished mid-season. The concern is that this could deter less dedicated players from engaging with the ranked mode.

Developers have acknowledged this feedback and indicated a willingness to adapt the reset system based on player response. If the negative feedback is significant, adjustments may be made in future updates.
