To unlock the farm expansion, head over to the **Carpenter’s Shop** located in the Eastern Road area. You can purchase it as early as your first year, but there are some prerequisites to meet first.

You need to help the town achieve **Rank 55** by earning enough Renown points. Additionally, you must complete the **Stone Refinery repair quest**, which also requires Town Rank 55 to unlock. These steps are interconnected and essential for progressing towards the farm expansion.

How to Build Farm Expansion in Fields of Mistria

Visit the Carpenter’s Shop on the Eastern Road, northeast of Mistria’s town center. From the shop’s main menu, select ‘Farm Expansion’ to see the requirements for this upgrade.

You'll need a hefty **40,000 Tesserae** to cover the monetary cost. Accumulating this amount will take time, so maximize your efforts in gathering resources, farming, and completing quests. Regularly explore the Mines, fish, and contribute new items to the Museum.

Next, you'll require **50 x Refined Stone**. To obtain this, you must first repair the **Stone Refinery**, which is only possible after reaching Town Rank 55 and repairing the **Inn**.

Lastly, gather **50 x Hard Wood**, the easiest material to acquire. Once you have a **Copper Axe**, chop the **large tree stumps** around your farm and beyond, which will yield 2 x Hard Wood each. You can also find Hard Wood at **Balor’s Cart** on certain days or by turning in enough items to the Museum.
