FFXIV: Guide to Acquiring Unbound Emote Unveiled

Unlock the "Pose of the Unbound" Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!

FFXIV patch 7.16 introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide details how to obtain the coveted "Pose of the Unbound" emote.

Obtaining the Emote:

The "Pose of the Unbound" emote is the reward for completing the quest, "Imposing Views." To begin, locate the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).

Prerequisites:

Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must first complete the quest "Picking Up the Torch." This requires finishing all five role quests in the game. This means leveling a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class to level 100 and completing their respective role quests in Tulliyollal. Only after completing "Picking Up the Torch" will "Imposing Views" appear.

Completing "Imposing Views":

"Imposing Views" is a relatively simple quest. You'll travel to the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi multiple times, engage in some combat, and that's it! Upon completion, you'll receive the "Pose of the Unbound" emote.

Using the Emote:

To use your new emote, simply type "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will strike a fun, Jojo-esque pose.

That's all there is to it! Enjoy your new emote. For more FFXIV guides, news, and reviews (including our Dawntrail review and patch schedule), check out The Escapist.
