PlayStation Productions made a significant splash at CES 2025, announcing a wave of new game adaptations slated for release in 2025 and beyond. The announcements, made on January 7th, 2025, included several highly anticipated projects.

Key Announcements:

• Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Anime Series: A new anime series based on the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends multiplayer mode is in the works, a collaboration between Crunchyroll and Aniplex. Set to premiere exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027, the series will be directed by Takanobu Mizumo, with story composition by Gen Urobuchi. Sony Music will handle the music and soundtrack.

• Horizon Zero Dawn and Helldivers 2 Films: Film adaptations of Horizon Zero Dawn (produced by Sony Pictures) and Helldivers 2 (produced by Columbia Pictures) are officially in development, though details remain scarce.

• Until Dawn Film Adaptation: A film adaptation of Until Dawn is set for release on April 25, 2025.
