Hell is Us: A New Trailer Highlights Its Dark World and Unconventional Gameplay

Rogue Factor and Nacon have released an extensive new trailer for their upcoming game, Hell is Us. Clocking in at nearly seven minutes, this trailer showcases core gameplay: exploration of a war-torn landscape, compelling character interactions, challenging puzzles, and the thrill of uncovering hidden secrets.

Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game set in a nation devastated by civil war and a mysterious, supernatural catastrophe. A unique aspect of the game is the deliberate omission of traditional UI elements like maps, compasses, and quest markers. Players must rely on their instincts and observation skills to navigate the semi-open world, piecing together clues from the environment and non-player characters.

Protagonist Remy utilizes a drone for strategic planning and employs a specialized arsenal of weaponry to combat the terrifying chimeras that plague the land. The trailer emphasizes the game's grim atmosphere, intense sword and drone-based combat, and a richly layered narrative exploring themes of violence and the complexities of human emotion.

Hell is Us is set for release on September 4, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
