Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Update
Free Diamonds as Compensation
With high expectations from fans, Infinity Nikki launched Version 1.5, but developer Infold Games fell short on several promised features. On May 18, the studio addressed these issues via a Twitter (X) post, offering compensation for what they described as an “unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content.”
The update introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across platforms, with some making the game nearly unplayable. The studio also implemented unannounced system changes, raising the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11. This increased the maximum number of pulls needed to complete an outfit to 220—making it far more costly and time-consuming for players to collect full sets.

Players also voiced frustration over a new dye system, which many found confusing and tedious, as it requires unlocking color palettes for each individual clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was also removed, as the outfit tied to the event remains in development. “Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5,” the developers stated, “we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion.”
In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, “As compensation for Version 1.5’s shortcomings and schedule adjustments, all stylists will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals.”
Despite acknowledging the problems and offering compensation, the studio has yet to share a concrete plan to resolve them. In the comments section, fans raised concerns about the adjusted pity system, the flawed dye feature, and a variety of other bugs.
Version 1.6 Delayed

Due to the troubled launch of Version 1.5, the developers have extended its duration to allow more time for fixes. As a result, Version 1.6 has been postponed until June 12, 2025, affecting in-game event schedules as well.
Additionally, the new weekly task Starlit Pursuit—originally slated for May 20—will now debut in Version 1.6. According to Infold Games, “This delay gives us time to refine task mechanics for a smoother player experience. More details will be shared at a later date—stay tuned.” Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this postponement.
More Unannounced Adjustments Planned

The developers have acknowledged that Version 1.5’s issues run deeper than initially stated. “There are also unlisted adjustments currently under discussion,” Infold explained. “Some of these changes require extended development time, but we are committed to implementing them through phased updates.”
To improve communication, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table—a new initiative that lets players submit feedback and concerns directly to the team. Players can participate by emailing the official game account with “Table Advisor” in the subject line, or by using the in-game Customer Service option.
Infold Games expressed both “guilt over delayed promises” and “gratitude for your unwavering support,” pledging to make the game “shine brighter than ever.” Infinity Nikki is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. For the latest updates, check out our article below!
