Summary
Marvel Rivals is adding a new skin based on Marvel's Spider-Man 2's Advanced Suit 2.0, launching January 30th, coinciding with the PC release of the game. New Mantis and Doctor Strange skins arrive January 17th.
Spider-Man, a five-star difficulty Duelist in Marvel Rivals, excels at dealing damage. His web-slinging mobility allows for quick attacks and escapes. Abilities include webbing enemies, pulling them in, or delivering powerful uppercuts. A current Season 1 Midnight Features quest rewards players for using Spider-Man.
NetEase Games surprisingly announced the Advanced Suit 2.0 skin via Twitter. While many players are thrilled, especially given Yuri Lowenthal's voice acting in both games, some are debating between this and a leaked Lunar New Year Spider-Man skin.
Marvel Rivals: Advanced Suit 2.0 Arrives
The Advanced Suit 2.0 boasts the classic red and blue design, accented by Insomniac Games' signature large white spider emblem. While excitement is high, concerns exist about the potential cost. Legendary skin bundles typically cost 2,200 Units, while MCU skins like Spider-Man and Iron Man cost 2,600 Units.
To quickly acquire Units, players can complete Heroic Journey achievements, earning up to 1,500 Units and skins for Storm and Star-Lord. These Units, along with Lattice, can purchase any in-game skin. With exciting cosmetics on the horizon, anticipation is building for NetEase Games' future releases.
