Marvel Rivals Dev Acknowledges FPS Bug, Fix Coming Soon

Marvel Rivals's launch was a resounding success, boasting hundreds of thousands of concurrent Steam players, eclipsing Overwatch 2's performance. However, a significant and frustrating bug has cast a shadow over this initial triumph.

We previously reported on a performance-related issue affecting low-end PCs: reduced movement speed and damage output at low frame rates. The developers have acknowledged this bug and are actively working on a solution.

Unfortunately, a complete resolution is proving challenging. Consequently, Marvel Rivals Season 1 will see a temporary patch focusing on improved movement mechanics. Resolving the damage reduction issue will require more time, with no firm timeline for a complete fix currently available.

Therefore, our recommendation remains: prioritize maximum frame rate over graphical fidelity in Marvel Rivals. This will prevent the performance disadvantage caused by the bug.
