Marvel Rivals: Friend Invites & Multiplayer Gameplay

Dive into the action-packed world of Marvel Rivals, the competitive hero shooter where teams of six clash for supremacy. While the matchmaking system generally works well, nothing beats teaming up with friends. Here's how to add friends and conquer the battlefield together in Marvel Rivals.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

Important note: Currently, Marvel Rivals doesn't support cross-progression or cross-play. This means you can only add friends playing on the same platform. However, the developers have confirmed that this feature is coming soon!

To add friends, look for the friend icon in the top right corner of the main screen, next to your player profile. Clicking this will open your friend list. You'll see a list of players you've recently played with; simply select a player to add them to your friends list.

Alternatively, use the search bar to find a friend by entering their username and pressing Enter. Once they accept your friend request, they'll appear in your friends list.

How to Play With Friends

With your friends list populated, it's time for some cooperative gameplay! Click the friends list icon (again, top right corner), locate your desired friend, select their username, and send them an invitation. You'll then be able to queue together for quick play or competitive matches.

For console players, friends added at the system level should automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.

That's it! You're now ready to dominate Marvel Rivals with your friends. For more tips and strategies, be sure to check out The Escapist!
