Metaphor: ReFantazio's Party Members: A Detailed Guide to Recruitment Timing
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing to combat. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat role is limited.
Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates of each party member, potentially spoiling some plot points.
Recruitment Schedule:
Each party member awakens to their unique Archetype, usable by any party member afterward. Early recruits may initially be AI-controlled. Later members awaken just before their first combat appearance.

Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (Border Fort events), awakens and becomes fully controllable on June 6th (Nord Mines).

Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes a controllable party member on June 6th, after Strohl's awakening. Note: Grius doesn't undergo an Archetype awakening like the others.

Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th, fully joins and awakens her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on July 4th, within Martira's main dungeon.

Junah (Masked Dancer): Awakens and joins the party on August 13th.

Eupha (Summoner): Her recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon between August 19th and September 4th (Viraga Island free time) adds her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest begins after this period.

Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on September 11th (Saint's Day events). Combat usage is available the following day, if desired.
