MLB Rivals Unveils Hall of Fame Heroes in New Partnership

by Henry Jul 24,2025
  • 17 legendary player cards added
  • Select six of them to join your squad during the event period
  • Additional Hall of Famers to be introduced in upcoming updates

MLB Rivals recently welcomed Phillies superstar Bryce Harper as its newest cover athlete, but that was only the beginning. In its latest update, Com2uS delivers a historic expansion in collaboration with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, introducing 17 legendary player cards and immersive commentary from two iconic voices of the game.

This update brings baseball legends such as Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Jack Morris, and Tony Pérez into MLB Rivals as powerful new cards, each featuring unique skills, enhanced team flexibility, and access to the new Potential system. These Hall of Fame Player Cards offer a significantly higher growth ceiling compared to existing Special Cards, enabling players to craft dynamic, multi-era lineups that celebrate the sport’s rich legacy.

As part of the limited-time event, logging in grants you the chance to instantly add one of six Hall of Famers—Jeter, Maddux, Raines, Sutton, Pérez, or Morris—to your roster. These cards can be flexibly assigned to different teams and positions, reflecting each player’s real-world adaptability and giving you unprecedented freedom in squad customization.

Adding to the authenticity, the update features full play-by-play commentary from Joe Davis, FOX Sports’ lead MLB announcer and voice of the Dodgers, alongside color analysis from former MLB pitcher and World Series champion Orel Hershiser. Together, they bring a dynamic, broadcast-quality experience to every match, deepening the immersion and energy of gameplay.
