The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers (up to a limit) within a pack enhances the chances of completing collections. This guide includes updated methods for acquiring Swap Packs in Monopoly GO.
How Monopoly GO Swap Packs Work
As the name suggests, Swap Packs enable players to exchange or "redraw" any sticker within the pack. This allows for the replacement of unwanted stickers with potentially rarer and more valuable ones, accelerating album completion.
Each Swap Pack contains four stickers—typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star sticker. Before claiming, players can swap any sticker for a new one of the same tier. This effectively manages duplicates and increases the likelihood of obtaining higher-tier stickers.
Swapping is random; there's no guarantee of improvement. However, it provides more control over sticker acquisition. Remember, trading duplicates with friends remains a viable option for completing collections.
Acquiring More Monopoly GO Swap Packs
Initially a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop, Swap Packs are now obtainable through several avenues:
Gold Vault
The Gold Vault, the highest reward tier in the Sticker for Rewards section (now costing 700 Stars, reduced from 1,000), is accessible once daily. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers, regardless of rarity.
The Gold Vault contains:
- 500 Dice
- One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
- One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
- One Swap Pack
Minigames
Minigames like Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events may offer Swap Packs as milestone rewards. Participation and achievement of milestones within these minigames increases the chance of obtaining Swap Packs.
