If you've been diving into Haegin's recent Dreamland update for *Play Together*, you might have been intrigued by the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to enter this whimsical zone. But what if those fun, surreal dreams took a dark turn? Well, that's exactly what's happening in the new Nightmare update.
Dreamland has now morphed into a Nightmare, thanks to the sinister influence of the Queen of the Night. Not only are Nightmare monsters invading the dream world, but they're also spilling over into the 'real world' of Kaia Island. To restore peace before the event concludes on May 21st, you'll need to take up arms against the Queen and her minions.
You'll face off against five types of Nightmare Monsters, including the Sneering Pillow and the Abandoned Doll, all roaming the island. To combat these threats, you'll need to wield the newly introduced Dream Gun. Successfully defeating all these monsters will earn you a special reward: the Bed Consumed by Nightmares mount!
**Night terrors**
But it's not just the Nightmare Monsters you need to be wary of; the normal creatures of Kaia Island have also fallen victim to the nightmares. New types of fish and insects have emerged, which you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's currency.
Over at the Dreamland Workshop, you can craft new nightmare-themed furniture, such as the Nightmare Music Box and the Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, there's a new pet to collect: the Nightmare Sheep.
