Pokémon Presents Event Coming Next Week

by Eric Mar 18,2025

Get ready, Pokémon trainers! The Pokémon Company has announced a Pokémon Presents event next week, celebrating Pokémon Day with exciting franchise updates. The event is scheduled for February 27th, 2025, airing on the official Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific Time (9am Eastern Time/2pm UK time).

While the specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high. Fans eagerly await news of the next mainline Pokémon game, currently shrouded in mystery. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for release in 2025, the next core generation remains unannounced.

The Pokémon Presents will likely feature updates on existing titles including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. We can also expect news regarding the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket, and likely updates on the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and revealed the mobile version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Notably, 2024 marked a unique year—only one Pokémon Presents event took place, and it was the first year since 2015 without a new mainline Pokémon game release. This year's event promises to be even more significant.
