Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates Rewards

The Pokémon TCG Pocket app's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a new wave of cosmetic rewards! Part two of the event has launched, adding a fresh batch of Blastoise-themed goodies to the in-game shop.

This includes a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. Players can also exchange excess event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total).

Don't miss out! While the shop remains open until January 28th, event tickets stop dropping on January 22nd. Daily logins are crucial for securing all the new items.

Following a busy holiday season filled with free booster packs and Pack Hourglasses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and eagerly anticipate the next expansion (rumored for late January). The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has spurred many to stockpile them.

This Blastoise event provides a fresh incentive for daily engagement. The first part of the event (January 6th onwards) introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards (with unique artwork but standard attack stats), along with a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover. New missions reward Event Shop Tickets, achievable through Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire and Water-type cards. These missions are cumulative across both event parts. The Bonus Pick also offers additional Event Shop Tickets. Daily logins are strongly advised to acquire all items, especially considering the rumored untradeability of the promo cards.
