How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you're set free in the expansive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a personal bed should be one of your top priorities. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the option to follow either the blacksmith or the miller's questline. Both paths lead to a bed, provided by either Radovan or Kreyzl, respectively.

In my experience, choosing Radovan was the more convenient option as he's located in Tachov, which is closer to your starting point. To get your bed, head to Tachov, engage with Radovan's questline, and complete the smithing tutorial. Once done, you'll gain access to a room next to the forge where you can sleep.

The bed in the room next to the forge in TachovThis bed will be marked as yours on the world map, and the room also comes with an inventory chest for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, simply return to this spot for a restful sleep.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be instances when you can't make it back to your bed in time. Fortunately, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with numerous campsites along roadsides and within forests. Be cautious, though; some campsites might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can use the facilities. Others might be vacant, ready for your use.

Once you locate a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can interact with the bedrolls to sleep. Keep in mind that the comfort level at these campsites won't match that of a proper bed, but they'll suffice in a pinch.

In dire situations, you can also opt to sleep in NPCs' beds. However, be warned: if caught, you might face repercussions unless you can smooth-talk your way out of trouble.

That covers the essentials of sleeping in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and detailed guides on the game, including how to use a torch and the best perks to prioritize, be sure to check out The Escapist.
