A casual glance at the impressive figure of one of Elden Ring's most renowned players, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to humble even the mightiest Tarnished. However, even this seasoned warrior found himself challenged by one of FromSoftware's most formidable adversaries, Bloodborne's Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first rose to prominence within the Elden Ring community in April 2022, when he donned the guise of a loincloth-wearing, jar-headed savior, providing crucial assistance to numerous players struggling against the game's infamous optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has since dedicated over 1,200 hours to the game and faced Malenia thousands of times. His dedication and skill have earned him legendary status within the Elden Ring community, culminating in FromSoftware sending him an actual sword in recognition of his contributions.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared his experience after acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, which allowed him to finally play the beloved Bloodborne. As a veteran of FromSoftware's games, he admitted to facing difficulties with some of Bloodborne's notoriously tough boss encounters.
Adjusting to the game's lower framerate — Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second (fps) while Bloodborne is capped at 30 fps — along with the game's heavy atmosphere, Let Me Solo Her recounted his initial struggle, including his death at the hands of the werewolf in the clinic, a common rite of passage for many players. He detailed his entire journey through Bloodborne, including its challenging DLC.
"Finally, I encountered the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC features a final boss that feels overwhelmingly powerful," he remarked. "We've seen Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus, Father of the Abyss in Dark Souls 1. And the Orphan of Kos holds that title for Bloodborne.
"This boss required more attempts than any other I've faced, leading me to explore Chalice Dungeons off stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets for replenishment," Let Me Solo Her confessed (thanks, GamesRadar+). "Without a doubt, he's the most challenging boss in Bloodborne for me."
