Finding the Special Time Capsule

The Blast from the Past event begins with a quest to gather information about a mysterious visitor, Emit. You'll need to use various in-game interactions, including watching TV, checking social media, and talking to other Sims. The hunt for the Special Time Capsule is where things get interesting.

Clues are scarce; you're only told to search for rocks near parks. Having spoken to Emit in Willow Creek park, start your search there. Examine rocks until you find one containing what looks like diamonds. Interact with it to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Note that you might need to check several rocks.

Contents of the Special Time Capsule

Opening the capsule reveals an IOU note – a somewhat underwhelming reward for your efforts! Read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.

Event Duration and Rewards
