Supercell’s New Title 'Boat Game' Opens Recruitment for Its First Alpha Test

Supercell, the studio behind global hits like Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, has unveiled a sneak peek of their latest project: Boat Game. Currently recruiting for its initial alpha test, this intriguing title promises a unique gameplay experience.

The announcement was understated, a teaser trailer shared by Supercell community manager Frame on X (formerly Twitter) and now available on YouTube.

Sign-ups for the alpha test are open, but be warned: access is limited and selective. Supercell is seeking a diverse group of testers to provide valuable feedback. You can register your interest [ttpp]here[/ttpp].

What Kind of Game is Boat Game?

The trailer hints at a compelling blend of third-person shooting and naval combat. Players navigate treacherous waters, evading cannon fire and engaging in intense pirate-themed battles on land. Surreal elements in the trailer suggest a potential battle royale component, though specifics remain shrouded in mystery. Watch the trailer below and decide for yourself:

Rumors of a Supercell third-person shooter project codenamed "boatgame" circulated last year, and this new title seems to fit the bill. However, Supercell’s history includes both successful launches and quick cancellations of projects that don’t meet expectations.

Despite the uncertainty, the unique land and sea gameplay of Boat Game warrants attention. Visit the official website for the latest updates.
