Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This event seamlessly blends the game's detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a historic city bordering the Gobi Desert.

Ballad of the Dunes: A Journey Through Time

This crossover event immerses players in a world of history, romance, and mystery, evoking the atmosphere of the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases unique Dunhuang cultural elements—from celestial apsaras to intricate murals and the traditional pipa. The artistic style draws inspiration from the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's diverse artistic influences from the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD).

• Unique Card Stories: Each MR card ("In the Footsteps of Silk," "Serenade of the Soul," "Reverberation Through Time," and "Void of Creation") offers a distinct narrative, further enhanced by Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards and Gameplay

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. The core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board, revealing prizes with each successful flip.

The grand prize is a choice of one of the four Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
