Season 0: Doom's Rise of Marvel Rivals introduced over thirty playable characters, competitive ranking, and cosmetic items obtainable through the Battle Pass, in-game shop, Twitch drops, and events. The Winter Celebration event offers a new way to acquire cosmetics.

Marvel Rivals Winter Celebration Event Explained

The Marvel Rivals Winter event ran from December 20, 2024 to January 9, 2025. Players earned holiday-themed rewards for Jeff the Land Shark (spray, profile banner, emote, and skin) by collecting Gold and Silver Frost through Winter Challenges. These challenges involved playing the limited-time game mode, Jeff's Winter Splash Festival.

Jeff's Winter Splash Festival is a 4v4 arcade mode where players, exclusively using Jeff, compete to control the most map territory using their primary fire. The team controlling the largest percentage at the match's end wins.

All Winter Event Skins for Marvel Rivals

Besides Jeff's Winter Splash Festival, holiday skins were available. Fuzzy Cuddlefin for Jeff the Land Shark was a free reward at 500 Frost. Holiday Happiness Groot and Wild Winter Rocket Raccoon were available individually or bundled in the Best Winter Buds pack.

Further holiday skins, Snow Symbiote Venom and Frozen Demon Magik, were released later in the event.
