De Game Awards 2024: een blik op de genomineerden en waar je ze kunt bekijken
Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 heeft de genomineerden in 19 categorieën bekendgemaakt, met als hoogtepunt de felbegeerde Game of the Year (GOTY)-prijs. De kanshebbers van dit jaar presenteren een breed scala aan titels, van gevestigde franchises tot verrassende indiehits.
GOTY 2024: Een strijd tussen de Titanen
De race om GOTY is dit jaar bijzonder hevig. Toonaangevende kanshebbers zijn onder meer Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (met in totaal 7 nominaties), de veelgeprezen Astro Bot, de charmante Balatro, de visueel verbluffende Black Myth : Wukong, de langverwachte Metafoor: ReFantazio, en de verdeeldheid zaaiende Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
Stemmen en de prijsuitreiking
Fans kunnen tot 11 december hun stem uitbrengen op hun favorieten op de officiële website van The Game Awards en de Discord-server. De winnaars worden bekend gemaakt tijdens de live ceremonie op 12 december in het Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. De show wordt live gestreamd op de website van The Game Awards, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube en andere platforms.
