PHASE 10 RULES:

Each phase consists of specific card combinations – sets (cards of matching values), runs (consecutive cards in sequence), single-color groups, or combinations. There are ten total phases to complete:

The dealer shuffles and deals 10 face-down cards to each player. Keep your cards hidden from opponents throughout the game.

Completing phases

▪️ Phases must be completed sequentially from 1 to 10

▪️ You must hold all required cards before placing a phase

▪️ Extra cards can be added if they fit your current phase

▪️ Only one phase per hand

▪️ Successful phase completion lets you advance; failure means retrying the same phase next hand

▪️ Phase credit is awarded immediately upon placement, regardless of winning the hand. Multiple players may complete phases simultaneously.

Note: Players holding a complete phase aren't obligated to play it, but must always discard one card per turn.

Going out and Ending the Round:

After placing your phase, aim to play all remaining cards.

Key rule: Always draw one card to start your turn and discard one to end it.

Scoring a Round:

The round ends when a player completes their phase and discards their final card.

Players calculate point values for remaining cards (lower scores are better) as follows:

▪️ 5 points per card (values 1-9)

▪️ 10 points per card (values 10-12)

▪️ 15 points for Skip cards

▪️ 25 points for Wild cards

Your objective is to finish with the LOWEST total score.

Finishing the game:

If one player completes Phase 10, they win immediately. For multiple completions, the lowest-scoring player wins. Tied players replay Phase 10 – first to complete and empty their hand claims victory.
