Start the quest by speaking to Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov, and then proceed to the designated pasture to begin.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

During the quest, Henry faces the decision of siding with either Prochek or Olbram. To side with Prochek, visit him in Tachov and choose the dialogue option, "Let's get those Zhelejovites!" To support Olbram, go to Zhelejov and say, "Let's go and see those Tachovites!"

At the pasture, avoid trying to reconcile them during their talks, as this will only trigger the fight prematurely. If you can pass the dialogue check during negotiations, you can cause one member of the opposing side to flee, making the subsequent fight easier. Winning the fight for either side will earn you some groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a more peaceful resolution, before heading to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram if they're willing to end the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz to meet Baliff Thrush and select the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace." Successfully passing the dialogue check allows you to access the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe's room. If persuasion fails, you can sneak in to read it, but remember to save your game beforehand.

Engage with the scribe and choose the dialogue, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."

At the pasture, locate three oak trees aligned next to each other. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. Your choices with the nail are:

• Leaving it in the middle tree will split the pasture equally between Tachov and Zhelejov.
• Putting the nail in the west tree will allocate more land to Tachov.
• Putting the nail in the east tree will allocate more land to Zhelejov.

The choice of where to place the nail doesn't significantly impact the outcome, so feel free to choose based on your preference or remain neutral. After deciding, speak with Baliff Thrush again, who will agree to end the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to finalize the resolution.
