War Thunder Mobile

War Thunder Mobile's open beta for air battles has officially launched! Gaijin Entertainment delivers intense aerial combat with this major update. Players can pilot over 100 aircraft from three nations (with more to come).

While aircraft were previously featured in naval and ground support roles, this open beta introduces a complete air tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.

Currently, the game includes aircraft from the USA, Germany, and the USSR, featuring iconic planes like the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. More nations are planned for future updates.

Players can focus on one nation's tech tree or progress through multiple. High-ranking aircraft can be obtained via blueprints earned through in-game events, starting in early October.

The open beta includes a new Aviation campaign, featuring an aircraft hangar for managing vehicles, researching tech trees, and upgrading crews. Squadrons of up to four aircraft can be formed, allowing for customization of aircraft and armaments. See the action in the trailer below!

Gameplay and Customization:

The aircraft hangar is central to the experience, allowing vehicle selection, camouflage application, tech tree navigation, and squad formation. Each aircraft slot offers options for swapping vehicles, modifying armaments, and upgrading crews. Squadrons can be built using any aircraft, regardless of class, nation, or rank.

With numerous additions, War Thunder Mobile's air combat beta offers a wealth of content. Download the game from the Google Play Store and join the action! Fans of turn-based strategy might also enjoy our review of Athena Crisis, a new strategy game.
