8 Games to Exit Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

by Simon May 12,2025

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games that will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight games are scheduled to leave, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can enjoy streaming games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new titles on their release day based on their subscription tier, and dive into a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following eight games are set to be removed from this extensive library.

Play**Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:** --------------------------------------------

  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars
  • Hauntii
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Little Kitty, Big City
  • Planet of Lana
  • The Big Con

Microsoft is poised to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games exit the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received an exciting new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without the need for downloads.

This update was shared in an Xbox Wire post, where Xbox announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as "select games they own," on their Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this feature was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, marking its debut on consoles.

In light of the recent announcement that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026, fans eager to revisit the world of GTA can turn to GTA 5. Notably, GTA 5 Enhanced is now accessible on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC, with the PC version marking its first appearance on the platform.
