Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, bringing with them a blend of sweetness and fiery power. From April 24th to 29th, the Sweet Discoveries event will introduce the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Using a Tart Apple will evolve Applin into Flapple, while a Sweet Apple will transform it into Appletun. Keep an eye out for apples in the wild, particularly near Mossy Lures, which might also trigger Applin encounters.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, you'll encounter wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer chances to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. You can obtain Sweet and Tart Apples through Timed Research, which includes both free and paid options. Opting for the paid version will reward you with extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters, including Applin.
Don't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and be sure to participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. If you're more inclined towards battling, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th, where the powerful Dynamax Entei will make its debut. You might even encounter a Shiny Entei if fortune smiles upon you.
To prepare for these events, consider using these Pokémon Go codes to enhance your gameplay experience.
The events come with several bonuses: an increased Max Particle cap, reduced adventuring distance to collect them, and boosted Power Spot refresh rates. You'll also earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot you visit. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research will be available starting April 21st, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to counterbalance Entei's fiery prowess.
Stock up for both events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store.
