April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

by Penelope May 29,2025

Sony has announced RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4) as the trio of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025. The gaming giant shared this news via a PlayStation.Blog post today. These titles will join the catalog of free games available to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers and will remain accessible until the next batch of games drops on May 5. All games listed below will be available starting April 1.

Which April 2025 PlayStation Plus game will you play first?

RoboCop: Rogue City

Teyon and Nacon’s RoboCop: Rogue City stands out as a must-play for fans of the iconic franchise. As a first-person shooter, it places players in the boots of Alex Murphy, tasked with saving crime-ridden Detroit from yet another malevolent threat. Last year, the game received a significant update with the introduction of a much-requested New Game Plus mode. Originally reviewed with a score of 7/10, it remains a solid choice for both newcomers and returning players alike.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

For those craving bloody action, Sumo Digital and Gun Media’s asymmetrical multiplayer title, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, delivers a thrilling experience. Survivors face off against the bloodthirsty Slaughter Family, with each match offering tense encounters reminiscent of the classic horror film. While our review at launch awarded it a 6/10, it still provides hours of chaotic fun for brave players.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory

Bandai Namco’s Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory offers a refreshing change of pace. This turn-based RPG expands upon the Cyber Sleuth universe, featuring over 320 Digimon to discover and collect. From a fresh perspective, players explore the original story in a laid-back, engaging manner.

Don’t forget to grab the March 2025 titles before they disappear on March 31! Subscribers can enjoy Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Whether you’re a current subscriber or considering joining, this is the perfect time to stock up on games.
