Although ARC Raiders is now available, the majority of players are facing online connection errors after more than 100,000 users attempted to log in just five minutes post-launch. Reports across various social media platforms indicate that gamers are seeing an "Online Connection Error" message when trying to access the title.

In a discussion on r/Arc Raiders, user Wirhoss noted his inability to enter the game and observed that many others on Reddit and Discord were facing identical problems. Players reported receiving error code "ARAU0297," while some encountered different codes, yet all experienced the same persistent connection failure.

Gamers attempted to find a quick workaround by updating their drivers, verifying game files, or reinstalling the software, but none of these solutions proved effective. Some even questioned the value of the Server Slam playtest given that such connection issues persist.

Despite growing fan frustration, Embark Studios has remained silent during this period, leaving many players upset with the developer. Despite these technical hurdles, ARC Raiders continues to dominate the Steam charts, currently holding the #1 spot for top-selling games and ranking fourth in most-played titles.

At Game8, we awarded ARC Raiders an 82 out of 100, praising its blend of cinematic flair with extraction-shooter grit while delivering stylish action through fresh concepts. To read our full assessment, check out the review below.
