⚫︎ Following Astro Bot's Game of the Year win in 2024, Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet has drawn attention for comments made during a panel at the Game Developers Conference. Speaking on the game's development, Doucet emphasized the value of creating compact, finishable experiences in an industry often focused on scale.
"From the start, we were in the mindset that it's OK to make a compact game," said Doucet. He noted that a smaller scope allowed the team to maintain full creative control while also offering players a game they could realistically complete—an increasingly persuasive idea in an era of growing backlogs.

⚫︎ Astro Bot’s latest update introduces a new level titled Hard to Bear, featuring a special reference to The Order: 1886. The level is part of the ongoing Vicious Void Galaxy DLC rollout, which includes five free weekly levels released throughout February and March.
