The Day of Rebirth Mini-Set Drops in Hearthstone, with 38 New Cards

Hearthstone has unveiled its latest expansion, the Day of Rebirth Mini-Set. This update introduces 38 new cards featuring undead dinosaurs, ancient powers, and a festive theme inspired by the Tortollan tradition of dinosaur hatching in Un'Goro Crater.

What Day of Rebirth Brings to Hearthstone

The Egg of Khelos serves as the centerpiece of this update, acting as the key to unlocking ancient power. Among the 38 new cards are four Legendaries, one Epic, seventeen Rares, and sixteen Commons. Players can obtain these cards from The Lost City of Un'Goro packs or purchase them as a complete 72-card set.

You can also harness primal energy through Beast Speaker Taka, a standout Legendary minion in the set. Her Battlecry allows you to Discover a Legendary Beast and adopt its stats. Upon her death, her Deathrattle summons that same Beast back onto the field, making her a powerful swing card regardless of when she enters play.

Another core theme involves wearing ancient masks that disguise minions as iconic Beasts from history. For instance, the Devilsaur Mask grants the ferocity of King Krush. Check out this preview!

The Lore Behind the Tortollan Festival

Bonfires, parades, fireworks, and storytelling illuminate Un'Goro as the ancient Egg of Khelos finally prepares to hatch after generations. To celebrate this occasion, Blizzard is hosting multiple in-game events.

The Day of Rebirth celebration runs from September 2nd through September 23rd in Hearthstone, hosted by City Chief Esho. Completing event quests during this period rewards players with four 'The Lost City of Un'Goro' Packs, a Golden version of the same pack, the Rebirth Celebration Card Back, and the Rebirth Coin.

Following the festival, Hallow's End begins on September 23rd and continues until October 14th. Participants can unlock two 'The Lost City of Un'Goro' Packs, two Random Commons, two Random Rares, two Random Epics, and a Random Legendary card. Additionally, players have the opportunity to collect the Nightmare Zail Hearthstone Hero Skin.

To acquire the new mini-set itself, you can purchase the standard version for $14.99 or 2000 Gold, while the all-Golden edition is available for $69.99 or 10,000 Gold. This premium bundle also includes a Diamond copy of Beast Speaker Taka.
