Best Batman Games, Ranked

The Dark Knight's reign in video games: A look back at the best Batman titles. For a time, it seemed like a new Batman game was released almost annually. Rocksteady's acclaimed Batman Arkham series redefined superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.

However, the Caped Crusader's recent video game presence has been significantly quieter. A true standalone Batman adventure hasn't been released since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans eagerly await new superhero game releases, those seeking to don the cowl of Bruce Wayne must look to the past for the best Batman gaming experiences.

He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, although this title isn't strictly a Batman game. More importantly, the Arkhamverse expanded with a new VR entry.
