by Matthew Jan 16,2025

Glohow's anime-inspired RPG, Black Beacon, launches its global open beta! Developed by Mingzhou Network Technology, this subculture-inspired game is now available worldwide (excluding China, Japan, and Korea) for a limited time.

From January 8th to 17th, players can experience Black Beacon's launch build, complete with core features and special in-game events. Participation earns exclusive rewards; simply playing grants special items, while consistent logins ("Push Rewards") unlock additional goodies.

While the game's "subculture-inspired" description is somewhat vague, its clean visuals are undeniable. Whether or not it truly stands out remains to be seen, but a hands-on experience is the best way to judge. Interested players can find sign-up instructions and download links for iOS and Android on Black Beacon's official GBT guidebook.

If Black Beacon isn't your style, don't worry! 2025 is already packed with exciting mobile game releases. Check out our list of the year's best mobile games for more options.
